Pretty much everyone I heard before the show was upset, but her understudy was good. If I can, I'll try to see it again, with Scarlett, but I don't know if I'll be able to.
I saw the show the other night, and she kept walking to the upstage vanity to grab a tissue and blow her nose. Forgive the naïve question, but was this part of the show, or was she actually sick?
No...I was so bummed. I kept waiting and waiting to see the ghost lurking on the balcony outside the bedroom and he never showed up. I kept thinking of the Loretta Swit with a flashlight story. I was very curious to see what he would look like.

I thought in Act 1 it was done subtly enough with him appearing behind the billowing curtain in a half light. But then in the subsequent acts he was walking all around the stage and answering the phone. It became distracting to me. I missed a lot of Brick's story because I was too busy watching him because suddenly a new character entered the scene and you, as an audience member, were curious to see why they were there, etc.
