Many of those projections are in the script, from Kazan's original production with Mielziner's design. They are hard to always make work, though. Thanks for your review!

I saw this show last night and really loved it. However, I would say that the staging was too distracting and didn't really see the point of all the moving scenery. For me, it distracted from the show itself. Having said that, I am considering seeing it again.

John Lahr just reviewed it for the New Yorker. He thinks it's good, if not great due to casting and chemistry. As usual with his reviews, it's more interesting because of his thoughts on the actual play's text (he just finished a Williams biography), and less so for his thoughts on the production which are fairly vague.
