Hello,

Here is a blog piece I have just published about the state of customer service in the West End;

Heard it all before and on top of that you are tarnishing ALL front of house staff, all box office staff etc, i am sure many are lovely and work hard for little pay.

Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

Never had a problem myself, and there really isn't a difference between the West End and regional theatres.

Same, never had a problem in the West End or regional. Like any walk of life, you get your good and bad service

I've been coming to the WestEnd for well over 20 years and I can't say I have experienced any bad attitude. Compared to Europe I find that (generally) personnel is very friendly (LOL) and professional (of course there will be exceptions).

Same here, been going to theatre in West End for 32 years and never had anything but good service. As has been discussed ad nauseum elsewhere, it's the behaviour and manners of the audiences that have declined. We would much rather go to the fringe than the West End now for that simple reason.

Agreed with the decline in audience behaviour,although I find at Fringe venues and one off cabaret type events you get the drama students etc who can be equally annoying

Dreadful piece, DELETE, that kind of thing is not welcome here I'm sure the older regulars will agree!

I don't have a problem with the piece being here as such, but (and this could be me) people creating new subjects to post links to their own blogs does bug me. Smacks of self promotion. And then you see it on every single forum. The opinion is just as valid as anyone else's, but not more so that it requires a separate thread. Personally I don't click te links to read reviews on a blog

It's not the first time Chewing The Scenery has done this. We get up in arms about it every time...

It does just seem like somebody trying to get hits on a blog. Surely, if you are going to post links on a messageboard you should at least try to have some other interaction. Instead of just doing a hit and run.

I don't remember there being such long queues for the toilets twenty years ago but I blame the audiences: I'm sure people's bladders aren't as strong as they used to be.
