Or like someone who implies I "don't like to think" because I enjoyed a show you didn't care for. :)

Just got back from High School Musical... er, Spiderman... I mean Ghost. Three words - the movie's better.

Then again, not being a 14-year-old girl or the mother of one, I don't think I was the target audience.

Yes, by the end of the show I was sobbing... but not for the reasons most other posters here were.

I do admit the show changed me; I will NEVER again see a musical based on a movie - they're just not working out anymore.

"Or like someone who implies I "don't like to think" because I enjoyed a show you didn't care for. :)"

But doggie, you know as well as I that accusing someone of "implying" something specific is a dangerous road to travel.

You may be sensitive enough to think I was saying something about you, but what I said was that the show is deadly to anyone who likes to think - that's not saying anyone who likes it doesn't like to think. It's your sensitivity that takes that step.

Um, no. By saying that you were implying that people who enjoy this "don't think." No matter how you spin it. I'm sorry, but just because someone enjoys a show and you didn't does not mean that it's a classless show. The amount of pretentious statements coming from some people on here is insane.

"Pretentious" is a word hurled in rage by those who don't get it at those who do.

And I knew you were joshing, doggie; I also knew that there are others who are out with a magnifying glass, hunting for any hint that they may have been insulted.

But I won't name names, fingerlakes.

Happy to report that they changed the projections during "Nothing stops another day" so that the sun no longer rises in the west. (Saw it last saturday matinee.)

No newintown. I understand exactly that word means.
And you have proven time after time that you think your opinion is more "valid" then others simply because their taste in shows differ from you.

Won the GHOST lottery last night. Second row is not an optimal viewing spot, but it was good enough. I didn't hate it, didn't love it. I was mildly diverted, mostly by the energetic spectacle and Ms. Randolph's "big black lady" (as Shaiman and Wittman phrase it) numbers. The technical feats should win awards; otherwise, meh. Worth it for the lottery price.

May be a silly question however, does anyone know how some of the illusions are done? From seeing the show in London I figured out some (the walking through the door, Carl getting strangled) but some of them genuinely baffled me.
