Cabaret at DTC Review 4/22

I saw Dallas Theatre Center's most recent production of Cabaret last Friday and all I can say is WOW! It sticks very close to the most recent revival (in terms of including "Maybe This Time" and "Mein Herr" in the scores, the provocative staging, and Frenchy being played by a male) and it truely shines. What really left me astonished was how the ending was staged; the last ten seconds are worth the ticket price alone! Never before have I seen an audience left in such awe before leaping to their feet for a standing ovation. The arrangement of the theatre is great as well! I had the priviledge of sitting at one of the cabaret tables and really felt like I was apart of the production. If you can snag a ticket, I highly recommend you see this show!
