Can someone tell me how long the show is? Like if it starts at 7:30 what time would it end at?

A 7:30 show will let out at around 10:10. If you're going to stage-door, expect to be waiting a while - with that many cast members leaving the show, it will probably be an extended Happy Trails.

Gabrielle McClinton is re-joining the tour on Tuesday. Though there's no indication if she's the new LP or just assuming her ensemble track(& u/s LP).

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Got to see the show last night. It was AMAZING. One of the best productions I've seen come through Chicago. I waited at stage door after and met everyone as well. This cast is SO friendly! They took time to meet everyone! John Rubinstein took almost 45 minutes to come out, looks like he had family or friends visiting. Sasha Allen was asked what's next, she replied "Rest. But my manager said "let's have a meeting!" Lol! Great job to this cast!

I don't understand why not just have Lisa Karlin be LP full time! She was amazing! She has more than proven herself.

I saw the matinee in Chicago yesterday. Loved it!

This was the first production I have seen (I've been waiting for a long time!) and it lived up to the hype I had in my mind.

The leading player was played by Lisa Karlin. She was absolutely fantastic!
Sam Lips and John Rubinstein were hilarious as Pippin and Charles.

The standout for my was Adrienne Barbeau as Berthe. The crowd was just loving her.

I didn't see a weak link in the whole bunch. I'm just sad I won't be able to see it again this tour.

And I saw the evening performance last night -- Sasha was back in. She tweeted about missing the matinee. Seems like she maybe wanted to rest up for her last day today. I thought she was great, but definitely sounded a little sick and cut notes short...but still an amazing performance! She made the role her own and had some nice riffs.

Otherwise, it was a full company except Henry was on for Borris. I saw the OBC in New York, and this tour is great, but just doesn't have the same charm. Absolutely loved Kristine as Catherine and thought Sam was good as Pippin as well. I'm planning on going again next week to see the new cast members if I can.

I really liked Sasha Allen on The Voice so I was looking forward to her but Lisa Karlin was just great.

From where I was sitting I was getting a real Patti Lupone vibe/look from Lisa and was enjoying imaging Patti playing the leading player :)

I'm at the show tonight and there was a slip in for two new cast members. Sascha Bachman and Olga Karmansky.

^ They are new to the tour but not new to Pippin as they were both in the Broadway companies.

Corection: Sascha was in the original tour company as well.

Has anyone rushed in Chicago? Just curious where the seats are located

I can vary by performance, but they've typically been giving tickets in the back of the orchestra on the side. They're actually great seats for the show.

I only really asked for Brian Flores as Pippin because Gabby McClinton the new LP understudied it on Broadway so I as well as a lot of other people know how she is, wonder if she is different on tour though.

Saw the Tuesday performance.

Vocally, Brian was ok. Definitely had some shaky notes (e.g. end of Corner of the Sky, Extraordinary, etc) but sang as one would expect from a recent BFA MT graduate. His Pippin was definitely on the softer (and possibly blander?) side, and made me realize how underrated MJT was on Broadway. While MJT's character arc was clearly defined in all of the performances I saw him as Pippin, Brian came across as a whiney prep school boy all the way until the end. Might have something to do with his speaking voice. Hopefully he'll improve as he continues his run.

Gabrielle was a lot better than I expected! As with Brian, she started a little underwhelming. Quite weak in the high register and couldn't sustain many notes, which was distracting. But her second act performance was strong, sexy, and menacing. I might even say she was more convincing than Patina in the final scene.

I saw the matinee today, and it was great! Erik was out this weekend, so Henry was on for Lewis and Kate has been on as Fastrada all week.

I actually loved Brian Flores as Pippin. With almost one week of performance under his belt he seems to be settling into the role. He sounded great today and his acting is even better. I saw Sam Lips the week before who was great as well, but Brian's acting stood out to me as more memorable. He's still working on some small things like some of the tricks in Extraordinary. He did an abbreviated version of the black flip, which was still cool.

Gabby was great as the leading player. Loved Sasha last week, but Gabby is really the full package too. She seems so comfortable in the role and is a great dancer. I remember Sasha being so powerful, but Gabby brings her own energy to the show. She doesn't do anything crazy vocally, but it's still a solid performance. The tour is definitely still in great hands, if anything, some of the week spots were some of the acrobat tracks and parts.

anyone else notice Pippin's weird schedule for it's Seattle run? It's not a typical one or two week schedule, in fact, the show has a 6 day hiatus before the Seattle run starts on Sunday, Aug. 16. They're doing 10 shows in 8 days. The schedule for it's Seattle run:

Aug. 16 @ 6:30pm

Aug. 17: DARK

Aug. 18: @ 7:30pm

Aug. 19: @ 7:30pm

Aug. 20: @ 1:00pm & 7:30pm

Aug. 21: @ 8:00pm

Aug. 22: @ 2:00pm & 8:00pm

Aug. 23: @ 1:00pm & 6:30pm

So, I went back to see Pippin again last weekend not knowing about the cast changes.  I thought Brian and Gabby were both stronger than their predecessors in the roles.  Brian may have been a teensy bit weaker vocally, but his acting made up for it.  Gabby is just on another level compared to Sasha.

The big surprise came with Berthe.  I hadn't looked at my Playbill or anything, assuming I was seeing the exact same cast as the weekend before (which is usually the case with tours).  At first, I was so disappointed it wasn't Adrienne Barbeau, but as I watched and listened...I recognized that voice!  Priscilla Lopez!!!!  She was effervescent and delightful!  What a beautiful surprise that was.

This production just knocks it out of the park.  It far exceeded my expectations and I was so happy I went back and got to see both casts.  I'm so glad I jumped off the fence to see it.  I've never been the biggest fan of the show and I hate the traditional American circus genre, so I was very skeptical.  To me, the circus theme was a gorgeous extension of Fosse's vision and so seamlessly integrated, it appears as if it were Fosse's intention all along.  I loved every second of it.

ACL2006, where did you get that info about the Seattle stop? The theater's own website displays only 8 shows, opening Sunday 8/16 and closing the following Sunday with a matinee - which would make sense and allow the trucks to get to San Diego in time.

I am so glad you enjoyed the new cast changes.  I might check it out again when it hits San Diego.  I never saw Lipps in the role of Pippin.  But I saw the original as well as Kyle Dean.  From the pictures of Mr Flores he doesn't seem as boyishly handsome as the previous Pippins.  But that made me think that they cast him because he is that good.

from here: http://www.vividseats.com/theatre/pippin-tickets.html The theater's website was down this weekend and I noticed on the Pippins site that they list it from the 16 - 23. So I searched and found that link.
