" I am sure it will. I have a feeling AAIP, Something Rotten, The King and I and 2/3 other shows will be part of the next subscription season for Broadway in Chicago.
One of the lead producers is based out of Chicago, so you'll be fine.
Garen Scribner posted a video today on Instagram. Apparently Chris Wheeldon is redoing the Lise solo for Sara (as opposed to the version choreographed on Leanne)
Was that fall on purpose? I couldn't really tell. Where are they rehearsing?

No, the fall was not on purpose, she just fell - Garen even noted it in the caption when he said "Everyone falls... And she's OK don't worry!"
As far as where they are rehearsing, it appears to be Baryshnikov Arts Center per the geotag on Garen's post on Instagram of him, Ryan, and Christopher.

Just what I'd want everyone in the world to see- a fall on my first day of rehearsal in a leading role in a show about a ballet dancer. I don't think Scribner is very smart. I wonder how he'd feel if she filmed him falling out of a Tour en l’air on his first day? Trust me, Robert Fairchild would never have posted something like that about his co-star. He has class.
I highly doubt Sara minded him doing that, and if she had I doubt he would have posted it. The two of them were the original alternates/standbys on Broadway and are very close, so I highly doubt Garen did it to be malicious. Also, Sara herself posted it on her own Instagram.
Have you seen the post of Robbie falling during a rehearsal of Beginner's Luck when he wiped out with the mannequin? I believe he even tweeted it from Max or one of the other cast members who posted it.

I'm so happy he was chosen for this slot and not one of the current Jerrys or understudies. This guy can really sing it and act it on top of being one of the best young dancers in the business. Hope I catch him when he's on!

He posts his dates a stop or two in advance. That'll be the best way to check.

I saw Ryan as Jerry in Philly while the tour was here in November and he was wonderful. His voice was pleasant, he had a lot of charm, had great chemistry with Sara, and danced (as predicted) the hell out of the role.

A first-rate tour! Cast is as every bit as good as Broadway. Genuinely lavish. Stunning designs, staging, and choreography identical to what Broadway audiences were treated to. Don't miss this beautiful show when it comes to a town near you!
I don't think I'm betraying any secrets here, but Maestro Keith Lockhart caught the tour of AAIP in Boston and was mega impressed with the show and its cast. When we last spoke he was trying to get them ALL to perform with the Boston Pops in their annual July 4th concert. This is now telecast nationally.

Saw it last night in Charlotte NC and it was wonderful, Ryan Steele was excellent.
I'm seeing the show tomorrow and unfortunately, I am in a huge rush afterwards. The website says it's a 2:30 runtime including intermission. With the show starting at 1, would it be likely I would be out of the theatre by 3:30, or will it run longer than that?
I got see this yeasterday during the matinee with the Ryan and Leigh on as the leads and I overall enjoyed it! Ryan. Nick and Etai all had great chemistry together. Ryan was a standout and he has a very strong presence. I thought Leigh was brilliant as well, fun little tid bit, but when I was walking out for intermission I saw Sara walking out of the crowd. Kind of cute to see the sisters support each other. I also want to give a shoutout to emily as milo. Overall the production is in great shape and it shouldn't be missed.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I got to talk to Sara for a tad and she couldn't have been kinder.

I caught the Sun evening performance with McGee (still can't believe that's actually his name) and the Lise alternate.
McGee's acting and dancing were wonderful. His looks and mannerisms reminded me a bit of Andrew Rannells, but more macho. Not quite Gene Kelly but still much better than the time I saw AAIP in NYC and the alternate replaced Robert Fairchild for act 2 (that was a serious bummer). His singing was rough on Beginner's Luck - I think it might be slightly too high to be comfortable for him? Much improved after that though. Low notes were nice and relatively strong. Loved the ballet sequence here, after being underwhelmed seeing it in NYC.
The Lise alternate was a lovely singer and beautiful dancer. Some of the acting was a bit over the top, and her French accent came and went, but very enjoyable overall.
The two male friends and the rich patron rocked it.
saw yesterday's wednesday night show in chicago with the full cast in. have to say it has been my least favorite show in my broadway in chicago season subscription only because i really don't like ballets.
thought the entire cast were wonderful dancers but i found myself drifting to sleep multiple times throughout the show.
the only standout to me in terms of singing and acting was emily as milo. she was easily my favorite in the show.
