That is not surprising after that God awful Sarah Silverman show.

I *loved* Bobby Moynihan's unfinished puppet.

Inside SoCal was exactly the kind of "Anti-Comedy" hipster comedy that I can't stand.

What was funny about it? The guys are stupid, and not in a charming or funny way like Wayne's World. I dunno, I didn't get it at all.

my Beck Bennett does a killer Ron Swanson

I loved the audience reaction by the time he said three words. Perfect vocal impression.

Prince is a homophobe. I'll be fast forwarding through his latest crap that sounds like all his other latest crap.

Carrey reunion was a blast! Loved that they threw in The Riddler at the end.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I actually liked Bill Hader's hosting better. Carrey, well, was Carrey.

Really enjoyed last night's episode, especially Paul and Phil! That type of stupid stuff always gets me.

I really really don't like Jim Carrey, and last night's episode didn't do anything to change that. Has Colin Joust always spoken so slowly and deliberately during Weekend Update? I found it kind of grating.

Phyllis, yes that has been Jost's delivery from day one. I truly hope he loosens up a bit or gets replaced. Update is an important part of that show.

Jost still needs to get into the swing of it. Che, however, is doing wonderfully already!

I feel like Jost has been doing this long enough that he ain't gonna get any more swing. I've thought he was terrible since day one but last night he just seemed like a different kind of terrible to me.

I think it is because Che keeps getting better by leaps and bounds and Jost remains the same.

Che's delivery of the "Ebola is like black people" analogy was seamless, transitioning from telling the news to telling a joke. I feel like Colin (who is so damn hot) focuses on the former and hopes that the writing brings out the latter for him. Maybe it is the writer in him.

I enjoyed a lot of the episode, especially the Paul & Phil number, one of the real highlights of the year so far.

Am I the only one who felt that the Ghost Hunters sketch came a little too dangerously close to a racist cliche? I'll admit that I laughed, and Ms. Jones is always a treat to watch, but I'll also admit that it made me kind of uncomfortable in a PC kind of way, and maybe I should just lighten up about it.

The first thing I thought of was Suzanne Sugarbaker saying how she was sad that you don't see black people being scared in movies anymore and how funny it was and then Julia tells her that's racist and Suzanne wants to know why and Julia could find no words to explain it to her.

FYI: Prince will do one 8-minute jam instead of two shorter songs this week, so Namo can fast-forward through it appropriately.

Ohhhh, I will. Prince really had to try hard to lose me as a fan. I first saw him in concert in 1983. Several times over the years after that. The good thing is that no longer being a fan I can actually be honest about the middle-of-the-road quality of the music he has released post Symbol Years.

My favorite WTF Prince story is from Kevin Smith, who somehow got pulled into making a documentary for Prince for free and what a bizarre experience the whole thing was for him:

Warning: Smith doesn't tell a quick story. This runs for like 30 minutes.
