That's exactly why i bought a rear mezz full price ticket. My gut is telling me this is having fantastic pre-sales. Can't wait until we see the first full week numbers.
It's not the owners of the theatre who decide if there is a rush/what format it wil be. It's the producers of the show. While it is true that recent shows at The Broadway have opted for a general rush format, it's just happenstance. The most recent show to do a lotto that was at the Broadway was Shrek. But, they did their lotto at the M&M's store.

I hate when they have tickets on TDF but then you try to just buy one and it says "there are not enough tickets for your order." If there isn't even 1 ticket available, then why keep it up? I tried all 3 days.
I think it is selling extremely well. It has had barely any tickets left for most of the shows I have checked. Most of the Rear Mezz at least is booked. Looked at most Fridays and Sats in Feb.
Can anyone remember if Sister Act or Shrek offered Rush for first preview? I know Promises Promises did not have them for first preview because I was one of the sad schmucks who waited out in the cold for an absurd amount of time, but it was just for 1st preview. Doesn't the Broadway pretty much always have a rush?
Without bread we'd just be hungry
but without theatre we'd be dead
They in-formally announced today via Facebook that they will offer a rush. No price was named yet. I dont know if they mean to say it will be weekdays only or all 6 days. Facebook
