I am in need of opinions on what I should see for a matinee today.

Here's what I've seen so far:

-King & I

-Finding Neverland

-Hand To God

-Fun Home

-I also have tickets for Something Rotten this evening.

Chenoweth is likely out of OTTC today so that is out. Was thinking On The Town, American in Paris or The Visit, but am open to other opinions as well!

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Out of your options, I would go see The Visit. Chita is giving an outstanding performace this spring. If you use TodayTix and use code CWCPY, you could get a really cheap balcony seat too!

How are the upper balcony seats in the Lyceum?

Leg room wise, it's pretty tight. (But at least the show's only 95 mins.) I was on the side, in Row E. However after the performance started, I was able to move to the center and down a couple rows.

I'm trying to upload a photo, but can't seem to upload it from my own photos.

Fun Home.   Beautiful, heart filling.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

The Visit and OTT will probably be the easiest (and cheapest) to grab a ticket to, at this point.

I'd also recommend Fun Home.

Sorry, just re-read that you'd already seen it!  IN THAT CASE: The Visit.

out of the ones I have seen, I would highly recommend either Finding Neverland or On The Town.

Zimmy, what did you think of the Visit?  I would have suggested The Visit as well, if you were feeling up for the true artistic masterpiece of the season.  Though I would have also thrown Something Rotten out there as well for the show that made me laugh the most and almost in pain from smiling the whole time :)  Those are the two shows I will be recommending to everyone, and it's great because they are so different from eachother.  Best art show and best commercial show, imo.
