Spectator, beware! To start this crazy season with the ambition of you "to show all the colors", we welcome a great moment of theater, a real fireworks that combines the music of Bizet Habanera and mesmerizing at work Mérimée. As usual, Dominique Serron (Princess Turandot, Le Cid, ...) offers a very personal version of Carmen, integrating novel dimension to the power of the Opera. She realized this incredible bet to focus on the scene told shape, singing, dancing, musical parts, and of course the dramatic play to win the viewer in a crazy night in the footsteps of the elusive Carmen. From the first minutes, the viewer is caught in this magical canvas that multiplies the surprises, the winks. Performed by five actresses Carmen becomes multiple, complex, confusing. The theater director mastered every son and springs of intrigue. Through the character of Prosper, the narrator (Patrick Brüll), public actor accomplice, she managed to captivate us for two hours. This amazing version of Carmen offers more incredible roster of talent: five men give the reply to the five Carmen while a sixth player orchestrates the 15 tables with the help of three musicians. Great art!
