Laura A. Hobson Laura A. Hobson is a Cincinnati-based writer with her own writing company, Hobson Mosaic. She writes for several publications, including Cincy Magazine, aeqai (international online visual arts magazine), Gannett's Community Press, Hyde Park Living and Indian Hill Living. Previously, she has written for The Cincinnati Enquirer, WCPO.com, Business Courier, Music in Cincinnati, Diocese of Southern Ohio's Connections in addition to currently having several private clients.

With a degree in English from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Hobson specializes in feature stories, particularly in the arts, although she has covered indepth stories about the glass ceiling in religion for women, profiles of public figures, such as Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, John Morris Russell, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Pops conductor and Nicholas Kristof, New York Times writer. She does prereviews of upcoming arts events, roundup of arts attractions and reviews of local productions.

Hobson belongs to the Society of Professional Journalists. In addition, she serves on the board of The Duveneck Society at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
