The Fox Theatre today revealed renderings with the official name of the aforementioned premium space now known as the 'Marquee Club' which is slated to open Fall 2017. The Fox Theatre's most significant expansion since its opening to the public in 1929, the renovation will total 10,000 square-feet of premier event space including nearly 4,000 square-feet of rooftop terrace. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy enhanced food and beverage service within Marquee Club's five stationary bars, as well as passed and displayed hors d'oeuvres. Overlooking Atlanta's famed Peachtree Street, Marquee Club will enable public access to the Fox Theatre's roof for the first time in nearly 50 years. The rooftop terrace will include a combination of indoor, solarium and outdoor spaces for climate-controlled, cooled or fully outdoor spaces.

"When you think of the Fox Theatre, you immediately envision our legendary twinkling marquee. Standing the test of time, the Fox Theatre marquee is a beacon for patrons of the performing arts and a signifier of nearly a decade of memories," said Allan C. Vella, Fox Theatre president and CEO. "When we were brainstorming the name, we kept circling back to that one image that holds a special place in the heart of Atlantans - the marquee. Soon after, the Marquee Club became official."

"We see the Marquee Club as an extension of the Fox Theatre. Most obviously, the footprint but also in guest experience," said Adina Erwin, Fox Theatre vice president and COO. "Working with Lord Aeck Sargent, a local architectural firm specializing in conservation and preservation of historic venues, we have taken great pains to ensure patrons enjoy elevated service while their transition from the theatre to the club is seamless in both feel and design."

Guests may enter the club before and after events, as well as during intermission. Additional amenities will include priority pre-sale ticketing notifications, access to private restrooms, concierge guest services, and self-parking access to an adjacent lot. At intermission, guests will have access to pre-ordered drinks, dessert and coffee offerings, as well as dedicated lobby elevator.

Admission to the Marquee Club will be available through annual membership holders, as well as ticket upgrades at specific performances as inventory permits. Details, including rates, memberships and ticket upgrades are in early planning stages and will available to purchase beginning in January 2017.

Additional announcements regarding groundbreaking and construction plans are forthcoming.
