ABC's hit show "Ugly Betty" is gearing up for another trip to Broadway on Thursday, October 23, as the show's character Justin Suarez, played by 14-year-old Mark Indelicato, will audition for the new musical Billy Elliot.

Featuring music by Elton John, Billy Elliot the musical is currently in previews and is set to open November 13 at the Imperial Theatre.  Directed by Stephen Daldry, it features book and lyrics by Lee Hall and stars David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish and Trent Kowalik in the lead role, each alternating performances.

The roles of Billy's teacher, father, grandmother and brother will be played respectively by: Haydn Gwynne, who created the role of dance teacher Mrs. Wilkinson in the show's original London cast, will make her Broadway debut recreating her Olivier-nominated performance; Gregory Jbara (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Victor/Victoria) will play Dad; Tony winner Carole Shelley (The Elephant Man, Wicked) will play Grandma; and Santino Fontana (Sunday in the Park with George revival) will play Tony.

BroadwayWorld's own James Sims recently caught up with "Ugly Betty's" Mark Indelicato at the Imperial Theatre as the young actor interviewed Billy Elliot's three leading kids, David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish and Trent Kowalik.

Billy Elliot is playing at the Imperial Theatre, 249 West 45th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10036. The running time is 2 hours 45 mins, with one intermission. Shows times are Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm, Sunday at 3pm. Beginning November 17: Tuesday at 7pm. Prices are $41.50 - $136.50. This show’s schedule varies throughout 2008. For tickets and updated week-by-week schedule, visit Telecharge.com or call (212) 239-6200.

"Ugly Betty" is a Golden Globe and Emmy winning comedy starring America Ferrera in the title role, along with Eric Mabius, Judith Light, Rebecca Romijn and Vanessa Williams. The series premiered on September 28, 2006, on ABC in the United States. It follows the life of the unglamorous and good-natured Betty Suarez (Ferrera), and her incongruous job at the ultra-chic New York City fashion magazine Mode.
