According to the Boston Globe, the historic Colonial Theatre, which closed its doors for good almost a year ago, might get a second chance after all. Emerson College, which closed the theatre last fall to make room for a new performance space/dining hall, is reportedly accepting bids to return the building to its former glory.

Bidders include: Boston Lyric Opera, SMG, Celebrity Series of Boston, Broadway in Boston, Boston Lyric Opera, and Live Nation.
