Veteran Broadway Execs Team for New Theater Producing Venture

Roy Gabay and Daniel Kuney, longtime associates at theatrical general management company Roy Gabay Productions, are pleased to announce the formation of JumpStart Entertainment. The new partnership, effective immediately, will provide general management and executive producing services to premiere Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring and special event productions.

Roy Gabay formed Roy Gabay Productions in 1998 after several years of managing Broadway productions in partnership with Elizabeth I. McCann, including the Tony Award-winning revival of A View From The Bridge. Daniel Kuney joined the company in 2002 and since then the team has represented over forty theatrical productions, which have won a combined thirteen Tony Awards, fourteen Drama Desk Awards and three Pulitzer Prizes. From new Broadway musicals, to intimate dramatic plays, to large-scale arena touring events through such international markets as London, Lagos, Singapore and Brazil, Gabay and Kuney's recent work includes: the five-time Tony-nominated hit musical Rock of Ages; the Pulitzer Prize-winning plays Wit and How I Learned to Drive; the critically acclaimed Broadway musicals Fela!, Honeymoon In Vegas and Chaplin; the Off-Broadway productions of Heathers: The Musical and 39 Steps;and many more. Upcoming projects include Monsoon Wedding and Brooklynite, among others soon to be announced.
