VIDEO: HAMILTON Bartenders Gush Over Amy Schumer's Generosity: 'She Made Our Week'

As BWW reported yesterday, comedian Amy Schumer paid a visit to Broadway's hit show HAMILTON last Saturday and showed her appreciation to a lucky group of bartenders at the Richard Rodgers Theater by leaving a $1,000 tip on a $77 cocktail order of three double wines and a Sam Adams during the show's intermission.

Today, ET has shared an exclusive interview with HAMILTON bartenders Sara Laursen and Madeline DeJohn, who gushed over Schumer's generosity. "She did this. She grew up bartending and supporting herself before she made it big," said DeJohn, who previously received a generous tip from Schumer the last time she saw the show. "I think if she were in our places, she would appreciate it just as much." She added, "It made our night. It made our week." Watch the interview below!

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."
