The Queen Latifah Show will feature "celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture and musical performances. It is expected to showcase Queen Latifah's talents, blending comedy and music into her hosting duties."

The new talk show marks CBS stations' first foray into the entertainment sydicated talk show genre. It will join competitors 'Live With Kelly & Michael and Katie on ABC, Ellen and Steve Harvey on NBC and and Fox's Anderson Live and The Wendy Williams Show.
