Aretha Franklin's newest LP, "Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics," was released on vinyl earlier this month and will be available digitally and in stores on October 21.

"I haven't felt so up on a CD since `Jump to It' (was released in 1982) or the first time one of my records was played on the radio," the Queen of Soul said in an interview with Billboard.com. "I don't think I have ever been as excited as I am now."

The album will also feature Franklin's versions of such classics as WHITNEY Houston's "I'm Every Woman," Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," Barbra Streisand's "People," Gladys Knight's "Midnight Train to Georgia," The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On," Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U," and Etta James' "At Last."
