NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, today announced the third annual NYC Comedy Week, October 28-November 10. New for the 2013 promotion, consumers can purchase two-for-one tickets to 30 comedy shows at the most popular comedy venues across the City. In addition, NYC & Company, the New York Comedy Festival and Comedy Centralhave teamed to present a special NYC Comedy Week performance by popular New York City comedian Hannibal Buress on November 6 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Consumers can purchase NYC Comedy Week two-for-one tickets starting today at nycgo.com/comedyweek.

As part of the weeklong two-for-one-ticket celebration, NYC & Company, the New York Comedy Festival and Comedy Central will present a special NYC Comedy Week show featuring Hannibal Buress on Wednesday, November 6, at 8 pm, at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Hannibal Buress is the 2012 winner of Comedy Central's award for Best Club Comic. Buress is the co-host of Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show and is set to star in Comedy Central's new series Broad City this fall.

This year, for the first time, NYC Comedy Week is offering New Yorkers and visitors more of an incentive to laugh and experience some of the funniest performers in the City with two-for-one tickets to a wide range of comedy performances including sketch, improvisation, storytelling, stand-up, musical comedy and even the live Japanese game show BATSU!. Two-for-one tickets can be purchased at nycgo.com/comedyweek and are for shows at popular venues including Brooklyn Brewery, Carolines on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, Laughing Devil Comedy Club, NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, Peoples Improv Theater, The Cutting Room, UCBeast and Union Hall.
