Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Cass Morgan, who is starring as 'Marge' in The Bridges of Madison County- currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

Believe it it not, I think it was THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, with Tammy Grimes and Harve Presnell. When I was a kid my friend Betty's mom took us to NYC for a long weekend and we stayed with her relatives in Queens. It was fantastic.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I don't know that I'd call it a ritual, but I avoid getting into my girdle until the last possible minute. Pamela, my wonderful dresser, has to help me!

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

In 1982 my stepfather was dying and we had just opened PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES on Bway. My aunt Celia (his sister) was coming from Rochester to see the show, so I had to stay and do it, when I really wanted to leave to be with him and my mom. The stress of it all gave me nose bleeds, and I did that performance with a pocketful of tissues in one hand to wipe the blood, and a microphone in the other! I got on a plane that night after the show and made it home the day before he died.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

I've had the great good luck to originate quite a few characters, so I always want to do the next new project. I have no list of roles I long to play.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Right now it would have to be Michael X Martin, who plays my husband in BRIDGES. We have a lot of fun together. He is fabulous, and one of my favorite fake husbands.

Where can people stalk you online?

I'm not really into social media, but I'd be happy to say HI at the stage door after the show.
