Steel Pulse Set for Boulder Theater, 3/23

Z2 Entertainment will present Steel Pulse at the Boulder Theater on Sunday, March 23rd, 2014. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, February 7th at 10:00 am for $25 advanced or $30 day of show.

Steel Pulse is a roots reggae musical band. They originally formed at Handsworth Wood Boys School, in Birmingham, England, composed of David Hinds (lead vocals, guitar), Basil Gabbidon (lead guitar, vocals), and Ronald McQueen (bass). Hinds, as songwriter, has always been the engine behind Steel Pulse, from their early days establishing themselves in the Birmingham club scene onwards. Today, Steel Pulse consists of the original founder David Hinds (vocals, guitar), Selwyn Brown and Sidney Mills (keyboards, vocals), Donovan McKitty (guitar), Amlak Tafari (bass), Wayne Clark (drums), Keysha McTaggart (vocals) and Jerry Johnson (saxophone) Steel Pulse may have explored various styles of music since they started out in 1975, but when it comes to the message, the UK's Grammy - Winning reggae band has remained close to their roots. The Group has continued their commitment to fighting injustice, educating the masses, and promoting positive messages through spiritually uplifting music.
