SECOND SUNDAY FAMILY TOURS
Sundays, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 8, 10:30 am-12 pm
Ages 5-10
Visitors explore the Guggenheim's spring exhibitions through family-oriented tours that incorporate conversation and creative, hands-on gallery activities.

March 9: Tell Me a Story
By visiting the Guggenheim's spring exhibitions Carrie Mae Weems: Three Decades of Photography and Video and Italian Futurism, 1909-1944: Reconstructing the Universe, families explore how artists tell stories through their artwork.

April 13: Where Are We?
Participating families view works by artists in the Guggenheim's spring exhibitions to learn about different artists' depictions of places, both real and imagined.

May 11: Snapshot
This Mother's Day, participants view photographs by spring exhibition artist Carrie Mae Weems, and then take a family portrait of their own.

June 8: Child's Play
Visitors explore art made for, inspired by, and created by children.

FAMILY TOUR AND WORKSHOP
Sundays, March 23, and May 4, 10:30 am-1 pm
Ages 5-12
Following an interactive gallery tour of the Guggenheim's spring exhibitions, families create their own artwork in our Studio Art Lab.

March 23: First . . . Then . . .
Participating families explore how artists tell stories through art, and then craft a work that shares their own story.

May 4: May the Fourth Be With You
On the fourth of May, families gain inspiration from the Futurists in the spring exhibition Italian Futurism, 1909-1944: Reconstructing the Universe, and then create unique works of art based on their own visions of the future.

$30 per family (includes museum admission, workshop materials, and tour for two adults and up to four children), $20 members, free for Family Members.

STROLLER TOURS
Tuesdays, March 11, April 15, and May 13, 3-4 pm
Led by a museum educator, one-hour tours of the Guggenheim's spring exhibitions are given for caregivers and their babies.

$20 per stroller (includes museum admission), free for Family and Kids Club Members. Single strollers and front baby carriers only. Registration required at strollertours@guggenheim.org.

BOOK READING AND OPEN STUDIO
Sunday, March 23, 1, 2, and 3 pm
Ages 5-14
Families join author Deborah Goodman Davis for hourly readings of the Guggenheim-inspired book Speeding Down the Spiral: An Artful Adventure. Participants may also stop by the Open Studio to make art and meet the book's illustrator Sophy Naess.

$20 per family (includes museum admission and a copy of the book), $15 Family Members.

OPEN STUDIOS
Sundays, 1-4 pm
Ages 5-14
Families are invited to stop by the Sackler Center's Studio Art Lab and create a work of art inspired by the Guggenheim spring exhibitions.

Free with museum admission.

JUST DROP IN!

Ages 3-10
Museum educators lead creative, interactive projects for visitors that explore highlights of the spring exhibitions Carrie Mae Weems: Three Decades of Photography and Video and Italian Futurism, 1909-1944: Reconstructing the Universe.

SPRING BREAK CAMP
Monday-Friday, March 17-21 or April 14-18, 9:30 am-4 pm
Ages 8-11
Participants foster critical-thinking skills in this five-day camp while exploring the architecture of the Guggenheim Museum and the special exhibitions on view. Each session includes a guided exploration of the galleries led by museum educators, followed by a hands-on workshop where kids create their own works of art. Individual and collaborative projects apply various mediums and methods, including painting, sculpture, collage, and digital media.

ART AFTER SCHOOL
Tuesdays, April 1-May 20, 4-6:15 pm
Ages 8-11
In this after-school program, children experience the museum's spectacular Frank Lloyd Wright-designed architecture and permanent collection as well as the spring exhibitions. Each session's gallery visit inspires in-depth art projects in the studio. Participants learn about a wide range of techniques, including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, and photography. The program concludes with a mini-exhibition for family and friends.

FAMILY ACTIVITY PACK AND GUIDES
Saturdays and Sundays, 10-4 pm
Families with children ages 4-12
The Family Activity Pack prompts conversation, provides information about artwork, and offers hands-on activities for visitors of all ages. Permanent Collection Packs are also available. Family Activity Guides provide information and activities for families to explore the Guggenheim on their own.

Free with museum admission. Available on loan at the Family Activity Kiosk.
