Film and television actor Saim Hyder is pleased to announce his casting in the lead of a new comedy show on Jus 24x7. Just Another Sketch Show is our spin on the sterotypical TV genre. The shows lead Saim Hyder is on a mission to not just make another comedy based sketch program, he wants to flip it upside down and show the world how people really respond in the real world to normal outlandish situations.

The main script writer for the show Dexter Smith takes Saim and the fellow cast members on very familiar trips into our daily lives such as showing how bosses act completely insensitive to simple requests like maternity leave or what happens when you hear two friends talking about people they have dated. The show and the situations presented in it will bring the audience one step closer to realizing even though it is Just Another Sketch Show it is a show about them.

Saim Hyder is an accomplished Meisner trained actor based in New York. His passion for acting started early on when he BAGGED lead roles in his school and college productions in India. Thereafter Saim moved to the United States to coninue his studies and completed a Masters degree in Mass Communications from Arkansas State University. After college Saim trained at the renowned NY Film Academy and Maggie Flanigan Acting studio in the Meisner technique in New York City. Saim has appeared in leading roles in numerous short films like 'Larry Brought Lemon' directed by Ujjwal Patel and 'Patrons' directed by Rita Raider which were selected and screened at prestigious films festivals like Indian Film Festival of Tampa and Palm Springs International Film Festival. Saim is also a seasoned theater actor and his stage credits include the starring role of Alexander Loehman in Anton Chekov's classic play, The Cherry Orchard for the Falcon Theater.

He has also played leading roles in off-Broadway shows such as The Rajah's Son and Princess Labam, Bonafide Women and One Nation Under God among others where the audience loved his performance. Saim received rave reviews for his acting skills from renowned and prestigious media including Broadway World, the NRI Tribune,-one of the largest Indian-American newspapers, Times of India -the largest Indian newspaper and Yahoo Movies. Currently apart from his sketch show Saim is signed on to star in a feature film Flesh Covers The Bone directed by Samuel Roth where he plays the role of a 21st century youth in conflict with his ideologically conservative parents. He is also filming a short film 'Secrets' directed by Cesa Pledger.
