WFUV offers a blockbuster summer of programming with live broadcasts from some of the best festivals on the East Coast. FUV has partnered with Forest Hills Stadium, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival and Solid Sound to bring the best of their summer concerts, with artists including The xx, Lake Street Dive, and Wilco.

WFUV is partnering with the historic Forest Hills Stadium throughout the summer. Concert goers can look for WFUV staff in the FUV Clubhouse and expect reviews of just about every show, as well as live broadcasts of select concerts. First up, it's the English indie-dream pop band The xx on Friday, May 19th at 6:30pm. Next, WFUV broadcasts surfer turned singer-songwriter Jack Johnson on June 14th at 6:30pm. Then, a month later, WFUV airs the only New York performance of My Morning Jacket with special guest Gary Clark Jr., on July 15th at 6pm. WFUV will be at the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival on opening night to broadcast the soulful Brooklyn band Lake Street Dive on June 7th at 8pm. WFUV returns to Prospect Park for a sold-out performance by New Mexico indie rockers The Shins on June 15th at 7:00pm. An additional broadcast will be announced in the near future.

WFUV travels to North Adams, MA for a live broadcast from Solid Sound at MASSMoCA on June 24th. With a lineup headlined by Solid Sound curators, Wilco, featured performers will also include Television and Kurt Vile all with modern art installations as the backdrop.

"Live concerts complete the music discovery experience you've come to expect from WFUV." said WFUV Program Director Rita Houston. "We're particularly excited to be working with New York City institutions like Forest Hills Stadium and BRIC Celebration Brooklyn! to share some of their best shows with our listeners."
Many of the concert performances will be archived in the FUV Vault for on-demand listening.
