STAGE TUBE: Head Inside the Recording Studio with the Cast of SHE LOVES ME; Album Out Today!

Ghostlight Records has released the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of She Loves Me from Roundabout Theatre Company in digital formats today, Friday, June 10. Physical copies will be online and in stores on Friday, July 8. Ghostlight has also debuted a new "Making of the Album" featurette including exclusive interviews with the cast and creative team, as well as footage from the recording studio. Check it out below!

The hit production - now playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 through July 10 - was recently nominated for eight 2016 Tony Awards including "Best Revival of a Musical," as well as winning four Drama Desk Awards including "Outstanding Revival of a Musical" and the Outer Critics Circle Award for "Outstanding Revival of a Musical." In an early album review, Center on the Aisle raved "Benanti leads her cast bravely and boldly in their creation of the definitive recording, a commemoration of this glorious production." The 28-page full-color booklet in a fold-out wallet package includes production photography, a synopsis and a message from the Roundabout's Todd Haimes. The original cast stars Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Tony Award nominee Zachary Levi, Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel, Byron Jennings, Tony Award winner Michael McGrath and Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski. Also starring Peter Bartlett, the cast features Nicholas Barasch and ensemble members Cameron Adams, Alison Cimmet, Justin Bowen, Preston Truman Boyd, Benjamin Eakeley, Sara Edwards, Michael Fatica, Gina Ferrall, Jenifer Foote, Andrew Kober, Laura Shoop, Jim Walton.

Directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, with music direction by Paul Gemignani, the Broadway revival of She Loves Me includes book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock, based on a play by Miklos Laszlo. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and dance arrangements & incidental music is by David Krane. The design team includes David Rockwell (Sets), Jeff Mahshie (Costumes), Don Holder (Lights), Jon Weston (Sound).

SHE LOVES ME is a heartwarming musical comedy classic about finding love the good old-fashioned way. It follows Georg (Levi) and Amalia (Benanti), two parfumerie clerks who aren't quite the best of friends. Constantly bumping heads while on the job, the sparring coworkers can't seem to find common ground. But little do they know, the anonymous romantic pen pals they have both been falling for happen to be each other. Will love continue to blossom once their identities are finally revealed?
