Today, June 11, 13-year old Broadway and TV personality Carly Rose Sonenclar (Wonderland, Les Miserables, Electric Company) will be returning to the Mt. Sinai KidZone TV studio. She has invited Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spider-Man Turn off the Dark, Rock of Ages) to join her in what has become a series of appearances entitled Carly and Friends.

Mount Sinai's KidZone TV is a state of the art, interactive production and internal broadcast studio within the children's hospital. KidZone TV produces live programming at least twice a day, seven days a week, for pediatric patients and families throughout the medical center on a dedicated channel.

Hospitalized children, who are confined to their rooms, will be able to tune in and view the program live and participate by calling in and asking a question, while children who are not confined to their rooms have the opportunity to attend the performance in the studio.

Carly is appearing under the auspices of the Starlight Children's Foundation NY*NJ*CT. She is honored to be partnering with this terrific organization and will be working with them on many different exciting projects throughout the upcoming year.

The Starlight Children's Foundation makes a world of difference for seriously ill children and their families. Since 1985, the NY*NJ*CT chapter has been offering hope and a brighter future for seriously ill children. The goal of the Foundation is to help these children experience the simple joys of being a child. Each year, Starlight serves over 275,000 critically, chronically, and terminally ill children throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
