On Monday, April 24th at 6 PM, The Actors' Fund of America and Philips Electronics presented "Simplicity--A Look at the Future." The star-studded event took place at Pier 94 (755 12th Avenue at 54th Street) in Manhattan.

"Simplicity--A Look at the Future" is "an interactive environment showcasing an extraordinary collection of future products, services and solutions," according to press notes. "All of the products were arranged and grouped in 'pods' throughout the room.

Guests included Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd), John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys), Christopher Sieber (Spamalot), Rachel York (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Robert Funaro ("The Sopranos"), James Royce Edwards (Hairspray), Christiane Noll (A Fine and Private Place), Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), Jeffry Denman (Children of a Lesser God), Andre DeShields (The Full Monty), Chuck Cooper (The Life), Paige Price (Saturday Night Fever), James Stovall (The Life), Bryan Batt (La Cage aux Folles).
