Photo Coverage: 'A Catered Affair' Meet and Greet 2008/03/12

On this Monday, March 10th the cast and crew of the upcoming Broadway show A Catered Affair enjoyed a 'Meet and Greet' that took place at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. �A Catered Affair is the new musical with book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle. It begins preview performances March 25 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).

A Catered Affair asks the question that inevitably faces every mother and daughter: Whose wedding is it anyway?� One family's dilemma is now a funny, poignant and oh, so human show of love and disaffection.� Set in the Bronx of 1953, this musical reveals a couple strained to their limits as they plan their only daughter's wedding.� Harvey Fierstein's book and John Bucchino's score explore both our need for love and the true meaning of family," describe press notes.

The cast includes award-winning stars Faith Prince, Tom Wopat, Harvey Fierstein, Leslie Kritzer and Matt Cavenaugh.

TDF to Open Early on Thursdays for 'A Catered Affair'
To accommodate the new Thursday matinees scheduled for the Broadway musical A Catered Affair, the good folks at TDF will open the Times Square tkts booth at 10 a.m. on Thursdays in July, continuing through July 24th.
