Photo Coverage: Sutton Foster Returns to Cafe Carlyle!

Continuing through September 28, two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster returns to the Cafe Carlyle (The Carlyle Hotel - 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue) for a series of concert performances. The shows feature musical direction by Michael Rafter. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special concert event below!

Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer, currently appearing on ABC Family's Bunheads. She was born in Georgia and raised in Michigan. Before starring in Bunheads, Sutton appeared on Broadway in Grease!, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Annie, and Les Miserables before her big break and Tony Award-winning performance inThoroughly Modern Millie. She has also originated roles in the Broadway productions of Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, and Shrek the Musical. In 2011, Sutton starred in the revival of Anything Goes -- a role that earned her the 2011 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Astaire Awards. She has also performed solo shows all across the county and has released two solo albums - Wish and Sutton Foster Live and the Cafe Carlyle.

Stephen Sorokoff Stephen is also the cabaret/ music and co-theatre editor of the Times Square Chronicles. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides being a pianist, Stephen’s business career was in the Fashion Industry. He was CEO of a textile manufacturing facility and President of an international textile machinery company. Stephen was on the Board of Directors of the “First All Children’s Theatre” which brought the Stephen Schwartz musical The Trip and Captain Louie to the Kennedy Center in Wash DC. His wife Eda, an interior space designer and classical pianist was on the Board of Barrington Stage Company and is still active at BSC.
