On Monday, March 5 at 9:30, Jim Caruso's Cast Party celebrated the release of the limited edition, vinyl 33 RPM long-playing record of the Grammy-nominated original cast recording of the five-time Tony-winning hit musical The Drowsy Chaperone.  Many cast and crew members were in attendance, including Tony-winning book writer and star Bob Martin and Tony-winning composer Lisa Lambert.

The re-mastered collector's item released by Ghostlight Records marked the first time in nearly twenty years that an original Broadway cast recording is released in album format.  It will be available for $50 in the Marquis Theatre lobby and on the Ghostlight Records website.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Actors' Fund of America.
