Photo Coverage: Don't Quit Your Night Job 4

On September 28th at Joe's Pub, Steve Rosen (Monty Python's Spamalot), Sarah Saltzberg (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and David Rossmer (Fiddler on the Roof), in conjunction with Joe's Pub, presented the third installment of "Don't Quit Your Night Job," a new monthly comedy benefit featuring a revolving cast of Broadway and Off Broadway's brightest stars performing without a net. More shows will be presented on 10/26, 11/30 and 12/21; all are at 11:30 PM.

The show is an evening of improv, music, original sketch comedy and backstage anecdotes all to benefit
Wendy Wasserstein's Open Doors Initiative.

Hank Azaria (Spamalot), James Corden(The History Boys), Lisa Datz (The Full Monty), Asmeret Ghebremichael (Spamalot), Brian D'Arcy James (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Richard Kind (The Producers), Jason Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Michael McGrath (Spamalot), Kelli O'Hara (The Pajama Game), Nicole Parker (Fame Becomes Me, "MadTV"), Greg Reuter (Spamalot), with musical guests: Dan Fogler (Spelling Bee) and Law Tarello (Spelling Bee).

The evening featured musical direction by Dan Lipton, with Sean McDaniel on drums. The show was aided and abetted by People's Improv Theatre Teacher Yang Miller.

Ben Strothmann Ben Strothmann has been a portrait and theatrical photographer since 1995. Since building his first darkroom in his hometown of Milwaukee WI, his portrait studio now looks out over Manhattan where he shoots headshots and production photos. Born to a famous cheesecake lady (Suzy Strothmann of Suzy's Cream Cheesecakes), Ben is also an actor and pianist. Currently he lives in Astoria and studies guitar and Icelandic. Ben is also a volunteer for The Heart Gallery (heartgallerynyc.org) and helps NYC foster children find permanent, loving families.
