Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces the return of the popular One Day Sale for the hit new adaptation of the holiday favorite A Christmas Carol on Wednesday, July 19. The One Day Sale on Wednesday, July 19 offers up to a 25% discount on all tickets when using promotional code SNOW. Tickets can be purchased at www.MilwaukeeRep.com, by calling The Rep's Ticket Office at 414-224-9490 or in-person at 108 East Wells Street in downtown Milwaukee. The Rep's Ticket Office will be open from 9am to 6pm for the One Day Sale and the special pricing online will be available from 7am to 11:59pm. A Christmas Carol runs November 28 - December 24 in the historic Pabst Theater. A Christmas Carol is presented by Wells Fargo.

To celebrate the One Day Sale, Milwaukee Rep is partnering with Sculpture Milwaukee to give away several pairs of A Christmas Carol tickets on July 19 to the best carolers who sing a holiday tune in front of a Sculpture Milwaukee artwork on Wisconsin Avenue. Anyone can participate; just share the video of the song via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by using #RepCarolContest anytime between now and July 19. Winners will be announced throughout the day on July 19. Additionally, on the day of the sale - July 19, official Rep Carolers will be out along the Sculpture Milwaukee pieces on Wisconsin Avenue from 11:30am - 12:30pm serenading passersby, providing inspiration for the #RepCarolContest. At approximately 12:15pm the carolers will be at Calatrava's "S2" on the corner of Water St. and Wisconsin Avenue, the first 200 people to stop and listen will get a complimentary Christmas Cookie. Be sure to stop by and get a taste of Christmas in July!

The Rep's hit new A Christmas Carol adaptation, written and directed by Artistic Director Mark Clements, is a tale of love, hope and redemption with just the right blend of beautiful music, lively dancing, stunning sets and eye-popping special effects. It is a dazzling Christmas feast with enough theatrical goodies to fill any sized stocking hung by the chimney with care.

Milwaukee Rep favorite Jonathan Wainwright (Of Mice of Men, A Christmas Carol), will reprise his role as Scrooge, portraying one of Dicken's most recognizable characters. The cast also features returning actors Angela Iannone as Mrs. Fezziwig, Reese Madigan as Mr. Crachit, Rana Roman as Mrs. Crachit, and Deborah Staples as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Michael J. Farina (Man of La Mancha) joins the cast as Mr. Fezziwig. Complete casting to be announced soon.

A Christmas Carol features music directed by Dan Kazemi, set design by Todd Edward Ivins, costume design by Alexander B. Tecoma, lighting design by Jeff Nillis, sound design by Barry G. Furdenburg, original music score and music arranged by John Tanner, and hair and make-up designed by Lara Dalbey.
