NBC's THE VOICE is Most-Watched Show Among Big 4; 'Timeless' Equals Its Top Rating

NBC wins Monday among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers, led by the most-watched show of the night on those nets, "The Voice," and a "Timeless" telecast that matched the show's highest 18-49 rating since Oct. 24.

Note ABC carried NFL football in the New York and Indianapolis markets and is subject to downward adjustment.

"Timeless" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Equals its high in 18-49 since Oct. 24 and hits a total-viewer high since Oct. 31, despite special "Victoria's Secret" competition last night that increased CBS's rating in the hour versus last week by +163% (2.1 vs. 0.8 for a Nov. 28 "Scorpion" encore),

Grows +9% versus last week in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.1) and is currently up +9% in total viewers (5.198 million vs. 4.778 million), pending updates.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Timeless" increased by +64% in 18-49 (1.09 to 1.79) and +2.6 million viewers overall (4.8 million to 7.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3, for the biggest L+3 lifts of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 and total viewers.

Upscale: "Timeless" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 119 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.

"The Voice" (2.0/7 in 18-49, 10.0 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET): Ranks as the most-watched show of the night on the Big 4 networks. Maintains 100% of last week's 2.0 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings and 95% of last week's 2.1 in official nationals.

In total viewers, grows +3% versus last week's 9.700 in fast-affiliate ratings and +2% versus last week's 9.805 in official nationals.

Is currently maintaining +95% versus the comparable telecast of the prior cycle in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 2.1 on May 9), pending updates, and is up +2% in total viewers (9.992 million vs. 9.820 million).

Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" increased by +18% in 18-49 (2.06 to 2.43) and more than +1.2 million viewers overall (9.8 million to 11.1 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to L+3

Upscale: "The Voice" is generating a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
