NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Ranks No. 1 for Night in All Key Measures

NBC ranks #1 Tuesday night among the Big 4 in 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures, with "America's Got Talent" finishing as the #1 show of the night in every key category and NBC News dominating with its convention coverage at 10 p.m..

"America's Got Talent" (2.2/8 in 18-49, 10.1 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. Tops ABC's special Tuesday "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" in every key category, with margins of +58% in adults 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.4) and +5.2 million persons or +103% in total viewers (10.979 million vs. 4.987 million).

Despite the special "Bachelorette" competition, finishes within 0.1 of a point of its week-ago rating (2.2 vs. 2.3).

ncreases +5% versus the same night last year in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.1 from 8-10:01 p.m. on July 28, 2015). Grows steadily throughout the two hours, with this track in 18-49 - 1.9, 2.1, 2.3, 2.5.

Increases by +32% from its first half-hour to its fourth in 18-49 (1.9 to 2.5) and +1.9 million persons or +21% in total viewers (9.1 million to 11.0 million).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - last week's "Talent" has increased by +28% in 18-49 (2.33 to 2.99) and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.1 million to 13.2 million) going from L+SD to L+3, to garner the biggest L+3 gains of the night in adult 18-49 rating and total viewers.

Currently NBC News coverage of Night 2 of the Democratic National Convention is averaging a 1.3/5 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall in preliminary fast-affiliate results from 10-11 p.m. ET (which are subject to change). In the hour, NBC: Currently wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key categories.

Currently tops ABC and CBS combined in adults 18-49 (1.3 vs. a combined 1.1) and adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. a combined 1.6).

Currently is reporting the highest ratings to date for broadcast networks coverage of the 2016 political conventions, topping the previous highs set by NBC of a 1.1 on four different nights in 18-49, 1.5 on three different nights in 25-54 and 5.071 million viewers overall on night three of the Republican National Convention.
