NBC Orders Comedy Pilots MASON TWINS and A TO Z

Deadline reports that NBC has given pilot orders to two new comedies: Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael's MASON TWINS and Ben Queen and Le Train Train's A TO Z.

ABC Studios' MASON TWINS is written and produced by Wilson and Raphael, with script supervision by producer Stacy Traub. The pilot follows fraternal twins Pender and Lizzie Mason, who reunite after 15 years of estrangement and discover that neither of them have their lives together.

Writers Wilson and Raphael are best friends who co-wrote the movies Bride Wars and Ass Backwards. Wilson will next appear as an actress in Me Him Her, Claire's Cambodia and Gone Girl. She is known for her role as 'Penny Hartz' in the TV series Happy Endings. Raphael's next big screen acting project is the movie Business Trip. She has appeared on TV in NTSF:SD:SUV, New Girl, Burning Love and more.

Warner Bros. TV's A TO Z is from Le Train Train's Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, as well as writer Ben Queen. The trio are executive producing this first pilot order for Le Train Train. A TO Z is a rom-com set at an online dating company that provides the "A to Z's" of relationships.

Jones, who will soon depart NBC's Parks and Recreation, will next appear in the movie Cuban Fury and lends her voice to the animated feature B.O.O., as well as the Hulu series The Awesomes. She has also starred in The Office, I Love You, Man and more.

McCormack will next be seen in Electric Slide and An Unkindness of Ravens. Past credits include the TV series In Plain Sight and Brothers & Sisters, and the movies Here Comes the Night, Celeste & Jesse Forever and more.
