"Moonlight Presents," the new cultural arts program of the City of Vista, offers its inaugural offerings at the outdoor Moonlight Amphitheatre. This new presenting program offers six events at the city owned amphitheatre in Spring and Fall 2016.

Tickets for the entire season of "Moonlight Presents" are on sale now in person at the VisTix box office, by phone at (760) 724-2110 and online at moonlightstage.com.

For these events, no outside food or drinks are permitted. The Artisan Café will be open, offering a full-range of food and beverages. "Moonlight Presents" is produced through the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Vista and is presented in partnership with the Moonlight Cultural Foundation.

The expansion of the programming at the Moonlight Amphitheatre has been part of the company's plans since the Amphitheatre reopened in 2008 with a new stagehouse in 2008.

"Our intention is to offer a mix of programming the community can embrace, and provide audiences the opportunity to enjoy the Amphitheatre year-round," says Daniel Kays, producer, "Moonlight Presents." "The Moonlight Amphitheatre is a showcase of the performing arts and we look forward to audiences enjoying our line-up of national touring acts. The City of Vista is at the forefront of providing artistic opportunities to all who come into the city, from the performing arts to the visual arts."

"The Moonlight Cultural Foundation takes great pride in partnering with the City of Vista," says Toria Watson, executive director, Moonlight Cultural Foundation. "We strive to make our work accessible to as wide an audience as possible, deepening our connection with the community and positioning the Moonlight Amphitheatre as a popular destination throughout the year."

Orchestra: $25
Reserved: $20
Fringe: $18
Reserved Lawn: $15

After being featured on Conan O'Brien, National Public Radio and a smash run on Broadway, The Intergalactic Nemesis Live-Action Graphic Novel is in its third touring season in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. This one-of-a-kind all-ages show is not to be missed. Three actors, a Foley artist and a pianist perform all of the voices, sound effects and music while more than 1000 blow-your-mind comic book images are blasted onto a large screen. The premise of the show is simple: it is a period adventure story about a reporter, her assistant and a mysterious librarian as they face the most serious threat Earth has ever known: an impending invasion of sludge monsters from the planet Zygon.

For Moonlight Presents, gates open one hour prior to curtain.

Three new discounted seating areas are offered:

Fringe Seats: These are reserved seats on the outer edges of the reserved seat section.

Reserved Lawn: This option provides patrons the convenience of not having to line-up early at the gate hours before performances to get the best lawn seats. Just like a reserved seat, patrons can now reserve a spot on the lawn. Lawn chairs will be provided as part of the ticket price.

General Admission Lawn: This seating area is located on the "Great Lawn" located on the hillside at the back of the amphitheatre. This area is steeply discounted and perfect for families looking for an affordable way to experience a night out at the theatre. Lawn chairs are provided as part of the ticket price. (NOTE: FOR ALL LAWN AREAS, NO OUTSIDE CHAIRS ARE PERMITTED).
