While The Sarah Kelly School of Music opened just a couple of years ago, it has already gained widespread recognition. When Sarah, two-time Grammy nominated songwriter and artist, opened the school she made a commitment to bring in top names to meet with students in her Artist Development Classes - and her next visiting artist proves she is living up to this commitment!

Stevie Blacke, foremost arranger and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, CA, known as "that string guy," will be visiting the school in an event that is sure to be a huge thrill and honor for students because Stevie will pick one song out of a big showcase to be presented by them and will write an arrangement for that song. What an incredible opportunity and honor for these aspiring musicians!

This event will take place at 7:30 p.m. tonight, November 19th in The Gravity Room at Fellowship of the Woodlands, 1 Fellowship Drive, The Woodlands, TX. 77384.

Stevie Blacke has recorded and/or performed with some of the most recognized people in the music industry, including Beck, P!nk, Madonna, Weezer, Foreigner, Seether, Cher, Avenged Sevenfold, Joe Cocker, Alice in Chains, Matchbox Twenty, Timbaland with Elton John, Michael Stipe with Mandy Moore, Rihanna, Coheed & Cambria, Colbie Callait, Anna Nalick, Rob Thomas, Snoop Doggy Dog, Chingy, Ludacris, Aaliyah, Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks and, of course, Sarah Kelly herself!

He has also worked with many great producers, such as Nigel Godrich, Steve Lillywhite, Brendan O'Brien, Timbaland, Rick Rubin, Matt, Serletic, Nick Raskulinecz, Mike Elizondo, Brian Howes, Ken Andrews, Jeff Trott, Greg Wells, Marshall Altman, Oliver Leiber, Matt Mahaffey, Tony Hoffer, Mikal Blue, Mitch Allen, Dave Way, Budda, Jim Scott, Fredwreck, Antonina Armato & Tim James, Rami Jaffee, John Fields and, of course, Jonas Ekman.
