Although well known for his work in television and radio, John Tesh has enjoyed an equally successful career in music, with more than 7 million albums sold and two Grammy Award nominations. His fans in the San Joaquin Valley will get to experience that talent first hand when the pianist and composer brings his "John Tesh Big Band Christmas Show" to the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm on Monday, December 2.

Tickets for the performance range in price from $19 to $69, and may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Accompanied by a seven-piece rhythm and horn section, Tesh will perform "Sleigh Ride," "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Let it Snow," as well as solo piano versions of "What Child is This?," "Jingle Bells" and additional selections from his newest Christmas CD, "John Tesh Big Band Christmas."

Tesh stars on the nationally syndicated nationally-syndicated radio show, "Intelligence for Your Life with John Tesh." A former co-host on television's "Entertainment Tonight," for which he won six Emmy Awards, he wrote the "NBA on NBC" basketball theme "Roundball Rock," widely considered among the best sports themes. Tesh's live concerts have raised more than $20 million for PBS.
