Jen Cody to Host 4th Anniversary 'New Voices,' 12/4

On December 4th, Jen Cody (The Pajama Game, Urinetown) will help celebrate the second year anniversary of the acclaimed series, "Monday Nights, New Voices."

Produced by composer Scott Alan, the celebrated evening will find New Voice alumni teaming up on duets with past hosts.    In addition, past guest composers will be featured, and accompany the performers, in this one night only event at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.  Showtime is 7pm.

"Monday Nights, New Voices" "was designed to showcase some of todays brightest new talent in New York. Now in its second year, it has also become a wonderful platform for up and coming writers," state press notes. Past hosts have included Sutton Foster, Matthew Morrison, Shoshana Bean, Jenn Collela, Lisa Brescia, Eden Espinosa, Stephanie J. Block, Barrett Foa, Chad Kimbell, Max von Essen, Mandy Gonzalez, Christiane Noll, Cheyenne Jackson, Jenna Leigh Green and more.  Past composers have included Stephen Flaherty, Andrew Lippa, Joe Iconis, Neil Bartram, Nell Benjamin and Larry O'Keefe, Michael John LaChiusa,  Brad Alexander, Charles
Strouse, Stephen Schwartz, Paul Scott Goodman and more.
