Inception Media Group, LLC, a diversified media company specializing in the production, acquisition and distribution of entertainment content, announced it has acquired the North American distribution rights to the family Christmas comedy "Danger in the Manger" from Moviehouse Entertainment, Limited.

"Danger in the Manger" centers on an anxious teacher, played by David Tennant ("Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," TV's "Doctor Who"), who starts a new job and quickly finds himself struggling to cope with a wild classroom assistant, a group of underperforming children and his own very pregnant wife. He soon becomes embroiled in a madcap plan to enter a national 'Song for Christmas' competition and embarks on a disastrous road trip in search of the competition venue. Lost in the wilderness with a class of small children, a baby and a donkey, he has to face his fears and try to lead them not only to safety, but victory. Part action adventure and part musical, the film has all the comedy, warmth and heart that audiences love. The film also stars Joanna Page ("Love Actually") and Mark Wootton ("Arthur Christmas").

The film was originally titled "Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger" as the sequel to the successful 2009 comedy "Nativity!" that followed the misadventures of an elementary school teacher and his students around the holidays. Both films were box office hits during their theatrical releases in the U.K with "Danger in the Manger" generating box office receipts in excess of £10 million. "Danger in the Manger" will be available on home video, digital and VOD on Nov. 19, 2013.
