Hell in a Handbag's THE HANDBAG SAMPLER Annual Benefit Set for 10/18

Hell in a Handbag Productions is thrilled to announce details for its annual benefit, THE HANDBAG SAMPLER, offering audiences a delicious assortment of campy characters that have graced the Handbag stage over the years! THE HANDBAG SAMPLER will take place Sunday, October 18 from 5 pm-10 pm at DANK HAUS German American Cultural Center, 4740 N. Western Ave. in Chicago.

Imagine seeing Nonnie from POSEIDON! An Upside Down Musical being repeatedly slapped by Joan Crawford... or Yukon from Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer singing a duet with Shelley Duvall from Rip Nelson's Halloween Spookatcular and Helen Stellar from Miracle! And that's just the warm-up act! Who knows what characters will show up from Sexy Baby, Caged Dames, Bette, Live at the Continental Baths and The Birds. Still not interested? Well, how about all that, plus lots of delicious food, cocktails, and the world's best raffle and silent/live auction with super cool items?

This year we're keeping it simple - tickets are $90 at the door or $80 in advance via www.brownpapertickets.com. Everything is included for the one price - the food, the alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments, and THE ENTERTAINMENT....an AMAZING once in a lifetime show with your favorite Handbag characters and some special surprise guests too!
