For the first time ever, The Garden of Dreams Foundation and The Madison Square Garden Company are coming together to host Garden of Dreams Week. From Dec. 2 - 8, children from across the tri-state area will enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences - including participating in game-night entertainment at Knicks and Rangers games and attending a show in the company of an Oscar-nominated actress. Other activities include the unveiling of a newly remodeled pediatric emergency department, MSG Network fundraisers to benefit Garden of Dreams, and a day of service for employees of The Madison Square Garden Company.

Since its inception in 2006, Garden of Dreams has worked with The Madison Square Garden Company to bring the magic of MSG - including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Entertainment and MSG Networks - to children facing obstacles such as homelessness, extreme poverty, illness and foster care.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, Garden of Dreams will unveil a refurbished Pediatric Emergency Department at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. The newly remodeled space, which features breathtaking murals in the main corridor, triage and trauma rooms, offers a comfortable, soothing and child-and family-friendly environment for children facing treatment and is the latest example of the Foundation's commitment to support tangible, targeted community projects.

Fans coming to The Garden to watch the Knicks on Dec. 2 and the Rangers on Dec. 8 will witness for themselves the talent and bravery of the Garden of Dreams children, who will sing the national anthem, act as guest PA announcers and perform musical numbers. Before each game, there will be a ceremony honoring a child in the Foundation. Meanwhile, fans at home, who are watching the games on MSG Network, will have the chance to participate in the MSG Networks fundraisers to benefit the Foundation.

Among other activities during Garden of Dreams Week, a group of children affiliated with the Foundation will attend a performance of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical" on Dec. 5 at the Theater at MSG with Quvenzhané Wallis, the Academy Award-nominated actress and star of the upcoming movie remake of "Annie," in theaters December 19.

Throughout the week, employees of The Madison Square Garden Company will help support these many events and on Dec. 3, will take part in an employee "Day of Service." On this day, volunteers will work alongside Knicks, Rangers and Liberty legends and the Rockettes to make blankets for children's hospitals, create winter warm-up bundles for children in local homeless shelters and wrap holiday gifts for children from the Wounded Warrior Project, NYPD and FDNY Widows' and Children's Funds.
