Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Welcomes New Additions to Board of Directors

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors welcomes several new leaders while saying thank you to a number of retiring board members. David Gross, Mike Hsu, Randy Mahoney, Ruthellyn Musil and Terry Timm will fill vacancies created by retiring board members John F. Bergstrom, Bob Buchanan, Mayor Tim Hanna, Kathi Seifert and Walt Rugland.

"We are excited to welcome these new members to our leadership team. Each has a strong passion for live performing arts and community," said Fox Cities P.A.C. President Maria Van Laanen. "I would also like to give a standing ovation to the retiring board members, who were all founding directors, for playing a crucial role in the Center's success. We are very grateful for their years of service and dedication, which has made the Center a gem in our community."

"From its inception, our Board of Directors has been populated with the top business and civic leaders in our community," said Fox Cities P.A.C. Board Chairman John J. Hogerty, II, who is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Treasures of Bergstrom Corporation. "Our new Directors continue this tradition and will be wonderful stewards for this critically important community asset."

Dave Gross is the President and CEO of SECURA. Gross joined SECURA in 1997 as Vice President-Sales & Marketing. He has more than 30 years of experience in the P&C industry including time spent as a commercial underwriter, sales representative, marketing manager, branch manager and independent agent. Active in the community, he currently serves on the board of directors and the fund development committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Gross also was a board member several years for Junior Achievement - Fox Cities and the YMCA Fox Cities, as well as co-chair for the Y Strong Kids Annual Giving Campaign.

Michael Hsu is Group President of North American Consumer Products for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Hsu oversees the company's approximately $7 billion dollar North American Personal Care and Family Care businesses and has direct responsibility for the company's marketing and sales for disposable diapers, training and youth pants, baby wipes, facial tissue, bath tissue, paper towels and menstrual and incontinence products. A 20-year veteran of the consumer products industry, Hsu joined Kimberly-Clark in November 2012.

Randy Mahoney is an audit partner at Wipfli CPAs and Consultants. With nearly 20 years of experience, Mahoney is the partner in charge of the Fox Cities Office. His expertise includes manufacturing/distribution, construction contractors and cooperatives. Over the years, Randy has built strong client relationships, helping them navigate challenges by providing sound business solutions. He is also the leader of the construction/real estate team for Wipfli LLP's Eastern Region. Mahoney is a certified public accountant and Certified in Integrated Resource Management.

Ruthellyn Musil retired from Tribune Company as Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations in 2007. Since that time, she enjoys 'giving back' by working with philanthropic organizations. She is a board director of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation headquartered in Chicago, and a member of the board and grants committee of the Vandehey Foundation, a supporting organization of the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region. Ruthellyn is active with Loyola University Chicago, where she received her undergraduate degree. Together with her husband, Ron, she serves on the advisory board of Loyola's John Felice Rome Center. Ruthellyn has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Terry Timm is Thrivent Financial for Lutherans' senior executive at the Appleton Operations Center. His current role is Senior Vice President of the Shared Services and Administration division. Terry started with Aid Association for Lutherans in 1981 and has held numerous positions, including vice president, Supply Chain Services, second vice president, Product Support Department and field marketing director. Timm is active in the Fox Cities serving on the boards of the Fox Cities YMCA, Goodwill Industries of Northeast Wisconsin, the Financial Information Service Center and the Senior Board of Junior Achievement.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors oversees the nonprofit organization's strategic direction and fiscal responsibility. The mission of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is to serve as a gathering place for the community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance understanding and enjoyment of life through the creation and presentation of the arts. The Center does this by providing a premier venue for performing arts attractions and a dynamic environment for arts organizations. Board members volunteer their time and expertise, committing to three-year terms of service at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
