Deadline reports that Erinn Hayes has signed on to star in the upcoming NBC comedy pilot HOLDING PATTERNS. She will replace originally cast actress Chyler Leigh in the project.

Holding Patterns is described as "an ensemble multi-camera comedy about a group of friends whose lives completely change after they survive a plane crash, caused by Leah (Hayes) ruining Griffin's (Humphrey Ker) proposal dinner."

Hayes is best known for her role as Melanie Clayton on the CBS comedy series Worst Week. She also played the roles of Alison McKellar in the 2007 FOX sitcom The Winner and Lola Spratt on comedy series Childrens Hospital. She currently stars as Sheila on Guys with Kids.

The actress will soon be seen in the upcoming indie film 'It's A Disaster.'
