Entertaining the troops has always been a priority for Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart who just finished another successful Battle Comics Standup & Improv Tour

Don Barnhart has been entertaining the troops around the world since 1992 and he will have just finished his third tour already this year before coming back to do more shows in Las Vegas.

The Battle Comics Stand Up & Improv Tour spent the first of August visiting with and entertaining the troops throughout the Mediterranean. The tour combined stand up comedy and improvisational games in a "Whose Line Is It Anyway" style of entertainment delighting the audience and boosting the morale of the men and women serving in the Armed Forces. Due to recent threats and attempted coup in Turkey the team had to postpone that portion of the tour

"We had packed crowds every show", said Barnhart who led the troop with his stand up comedy and then set up and participated in the improv games. "The difference with this type of show is the audience gets much more involved." Don is a graduate of the Second City Improv Conservatory in Los Angeles and teaches stand up, improv and comedy writing at the Las Vegas Comedy Institute.

The Battle Comics tour included stops at both American and English bases and both audiences loved the entertainment, lining up after the show to say thank you, to get autographs and take pictures with the comedians. "It's great to be able to make both audiences laugh as each country has a very distinct sense of humor", added Barnhart.

Already this year, the Battle Comics tour visited bases in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Kosovo, England, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain and Jordan. The Battle Comics tour are sponsored by Armed Forces Entertainment and Barnhart has hopes to bring even more comedy to the troops.

The Battle Comics Tour included comedians Keith Lyle from the Hangover and Linda Vu from the indie film China Dolls who both co-star with Barnhart in the new sitcom and web series Class Clowns created by Don Barnhart. The show also featured Jeff Capri from Comics Unleashed and improvisational actress Amanda Willimason.

Barnhart and his team will head back to Vegas to shoot more episodes of the new show and the comedian is currently scheduling even more shows in Las Vegas.
