Taking time out of her busy schedule judging the new season of Dancing with the Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba flew to New York last Friday to see a performance of Broadway's Burn The Floor along with fellow producer Harley Medcalf and visit with the cast.

Due to the popularity of the first few post-show "Talkbacks" with the cast and creators of the show, the producers have announced that they will extend the event into a weekly series for the foreseeable future. Immediately following each Tuesday night 7 PM performance, producer Harley Medcalf and/or director/choreographer Jason Gilkison will be joined on stage by the cast for a post-show discussion with the audience.

Created, directed and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, Burn The Floor is Ballroom dance with a sexy, 21st century edge. The cast of award-winning international dancers hails from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Australia, Sweden, the Philippines and the U.S. - and includes Australian Ballroom and World Latin American champions. Since opening on August 2, Burn The Floor has been called "hot, hot, hot. Pulse pounding choreography. A two hour adrenaline rush featuring some of the best and best-looking ballroom dancers in the world" (NY-1 News). Bloomberg.com called it "utterly theatrical," and it received four stars from the NY Daily News, which called it "Athletic, sensual and rocket-fueled."

Burn The Floor is produced by Harley Medcalf, Joe Watson, Richard Levi, Richard Frankel, Tom Viertel, Steven Baruch, Marc Routh, Raise the Roof One, Toppall/Stevens/Mills, Benigno/Klein, Caldwell/Allen, Carrpailet/Danzansky, Bud Martin, The Production Studio, Schaffert/Schnuck, and Carrie Ann Inaba by special arrangement with Dance Partner Inc.

Burn The Floor has broken box office records at Broadway's Longacre Theatre and has extended its limited run to January 3, 2010. Tickets are available through www.telecharge.com, or by phone at 212 239 6200.
