Broadway actor Sean Patrick Doyle has boarded HBO's comedy pilot Mamma Dallas, written and directed by ENLIGHTENED creator Mike White, who also executive produces the pilot with Dede Gardner.

The half-hour project follows a conservative family in Texas who unwittingly hire a hard-living drag queen, Liberty (Kick-Ass 2's Augustus Prew), as their live-in nanny.

Doyle, best known on-screen for his turn in 20th Century Fox's The Sitter, plays Liberty's roommate Kelly, a perpetually strung-out chain smoker with no life ambitions.

Doyle is repped by The Mine and 44 West Entertainment and currently appears in the Broadway company of Kinky Boots.
