Broadway stars and siblings Adam Jacobs (ALADDIN) and Arielle Jacobs (WICKED), alongside Broadway's Kat Nejat (WEST SIDE STORY), will teach a workshop in Audition Technique for A Class Act NY on Saturday, May 7 in NYC.

A Class Act NY, the acting studio for kids and teens, offers the opportunity to work with Broadway Stars and siblings Adam Jacobs and Arielle Jacobs in a one-day musical theatre audition technique workshop. Adam plays the title role in ALADDIN while his sister Arielle plays Nessarose in WICKED.

Participants will bring in a 16-bar cut of a musical theatre song they would like to use for an audition and perform for Adam and Arielle, who will offer thoughtful feedback and coaching to young performers on their song choice, presentation and interpretation.

There will also be an informative Q&A session in which students can ask Adam and Arielle their questions about their experiences as a Broadway family, followed by a photo opportunity with both stars. Every student will also receive an autograph and a photo with Adam and Arielle.

After Adam and Arielle head to their matinee performance, students will work with Broadway actor Kat Nejat (LYSISTRATA JONES, WEST SIDE STORY) on a dance combination that emulates a real Broadway dance call.

Students will learn important audition skills and techniques necessary to succeed in any musical theatre audition.

This workshop is open to all skill levels, ages 7-18. To learn about other one-day workshops with Broadway Stars, Casting Directors and Talent Agents/Managers, visit www.aclassactny.com.
