Bristol Riverside Theatre to Open Holiday Season with WINTER MUSICALE, 12/5-15

Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off the holiday season with Winter Musicale on December 5-15, 2013. This family program presents favorite holiday songs from yesterday and today, including traditional carols, popular classics, contemporary arrangements and original songs to celebrate the spirit of the season. Directed by Keith Baker, the program features BRT favorites Philip Chaffin, Anthony D'Amato, Robert Farruggia, Laura Giknis, Jessica Gruver, Elyse Langley, Meera Mohan, and Sean Thompson, joined by Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band.

Opening on Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 PM, performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM, with Sunday matinees at 3 PM, a matinee on Wednesday, December 11 at 2:00 PM, and a single Saturday matinee on December 7 at 3:00 PM. The 2013-2014 mainstage season continues with Tuesdays with Morrie by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom (January 28-February 16), Laughter on the 23rd Floor by Neil Simon (March 18-April 13), and Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman (May 6-June 8).

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 68 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to its mainstage productions, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community, with such programs as children's theatre, community concerts and exhibitions of local visual arts. Currently under the direction of Artistic Director Keith Baker, Founding Director Susan D. Atkinson, and Managing Director, Amy Kaissar, BRT is continues its 27th season.
